Hello, i was recently enjoying a lovely, legal ride down the street, obeying all the speed and traffic laws like a good little citizen, when I noticed my max seemed to be running a little boggy. Several minutes later, at home, I pulled off the airbox and notice one of the Slide Diaphragm that had given me trouble was sticking. This one had fallen apart prevoisly and i had simply pressed it back together as a make shift fix. Now im looking into picking up a new OEM one. My issue is, the number for my 85 max is 1FK-14940-00-00 while its supersession is 1FK-14940-09-00. Does anyone know if this will affect the bike? Im just worried that, when I order the older number one, I will recive a new (-09-00) one and be left with
A. a part that doesnt work or
B. a part that needs the other 3 to be replace (dont have that kinda $$$ atm)
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Charlie

I'm not sure why there are different numbers but the carbs are all the same for the 1st Gen VMax so there should be no difference between the diaphragms.

Nothing really different but all those old numbers changed at some point.
