Re: Tank God he was wearing a helmet!

Looks like the 18 wheeler was on the brakes at the moment of impact.

Re: Tank God he was wearing a helmet!

Not a picture I'd share.

Re: Tank God he was wearing a helmet!

I think we need to delete this this is not a gore forum.

Re: Tank God he was wearing a helmet!

Its reality guys, could happen to any one of us on any ride we take, its a choice we make! and I for one could think of worse ways to go.

Re: Thank God he was wearing a helmet!

Definitely a rough photo, its a lot like that traffic camera capture of the guy in China getting run over by a semi. I hope and pray this never happens to anyone here (or anyone else for that matter). What a rough way to go, hopefully he at least checked out doing something he loved.

I'm not sure if the pic is real, but this has happened. Not pretty but realistic. Be careful out there guys. Pick your spots to mash the throttle and watch out for the cagers. They are seldom concerned with us. The Cape got invaded for the summer last week. Weekends are bad for riding now till fall here. My riding takes me straight off the Cape first.

I think it's pretty disgusting that someone would see this poor guys unfortunate accident (if it's even real) as an opportunity to make a joke about wearing a helmet! And equally disgusting that anyone would find it entertaining enough to want to share with others. :puke::barf::puke:

What if it were real, and it was a friend or relative of someone on this forum? Zero respect.

Agree entirely.
Original post did not have "Caution Gore" edit. and went directly to pic, instead of a link to it.
There are just some things that some people do not want to view (gore, pornography, animal cruelty, political rants, etc.)
And yes, nobody forces any of us to view or read any or all of this material.
So all of us have to show courtesy and respect towards our fellow members to post our threads in the proper forum, and in the case of extreme material of any kind, add a clue as to the content, in the title.
Cheers!

Dump it. Inappropriate for this forum. Not a matter of "respect" or any other reason, except it's revolting.

Go North to bike friendly NH! Can't deal with that Cape traffic!

Yeah, not something I think is really needed around here. The caption makes it even more in poor taste.
