clamped too tight

Po installed exhaust system. Tightened the clamps enough that they slightly bent the pipes out-of-round. Real bitch to get apart and put back together. Any suggestions for how I can straighten them out at home without damaging the coating? Just a bit of a dent, barely noticeable when they are apart. They were leaking at the joints a bit. Figure if they were fixed I may not have a leak. 4-2 holeshots, btw.
