For all of us that have stock wheels that look like crap. I have found the product for us today!!! Aluminum Brightner by Burnishine 1800-837-8140 or www.weiman.com it is sold at Ace Hardware $7.99 for a bottle! Cleans all that crap out of the groves that we just can't do. This is the best my wheels have looked since I have owned the bike! You just brush it on and wait 5 minutes enjoying your beer then rinse off. Sorry I didn't think it would work so I didn't take pictures sorry. But it works!!!!

OK now get a good high % of carnuba paste wax and get some coats on it and they will stay nicer, longer.

Chris

I hope this helps out with our problems. Chrome is nice but out of my budget right now.

naughtyG next time I will take before and after pictures, even if I don't think it will work.

great stuff! @@

It sure looks good, and as Chris said, get some good carnuba on there and it'll keep shiny for a long time :)

Any one find anything that brings back the shine on stock black rims?
Mine look great when wet, but once they dry they have that hazed clear coat look.

I do but do you want to spend the time and money to do it?

It's not hard but it'll cost a bit to get it done.

You can also try using scratch X 2.0 from MeGuires followed by there Tech Wax 2.0. It's a cheap fix.

I know re-powder coating is an option. But new wheels is on the to do list. Right after Exhausts. I had planned on some nice chromed Carraz's but It's looking they won't be around by the time I can get a set.
So anything to get that haze look off would be great.
I'll have to try the wax.
