I think the idea of a MaxTrike is interesting, but that looks too-ghetto to me. I think it would be interesting to see small wide wheels instead, since you aren't going to be banking it in turns. I think doing a photoshop srudy for wheel size & tire profile could optimize the appearance. Frankly, the mcy rubber actually looks out-of-place on that bike.

Yeah i think a nice set of Hoosier racing slicks on the back would make it look real tough!

Just goes to show, everybody has different tastes. I'm personally not a fan of trikes but I guess if your gonna have one it might as well be a Vmax. I really crack up when I see the $30000 harleys that have 2 wheels in back but still have the rear drive wheel! I guess that makes the outer wheels training wheels!! I'd be too embarrassed to ride one like a beginner let alone be so dumb to spend the money on one. To each his own I guess lol!! Everyone has a different idea of what's cool. I don't care how much you spend or what you do to your bike someones gonna put it down. " I don't like chrome" "I don't like that color" alot of people are just ****** up! No matter what don't ever spend a dime on a mod thinking everyone will think it's cool. That's never gonna happen. Ed

Cool looking project! Wheels just aren't my style I guess.

Has anyone got a pic the the stock looking 06 or 07 V-Max Can-am trike (two wheels up front) that they can post ? I remember seeing it a while back, but can't seem to find it with a Google search.
Now THAT was a sweeeet looking V-Max trike ! :punk:

The only tilt-cycle I've actually see was one of those Piaggio three-wheeled scooters. Kind of interesting, the front wheels were really close together, maybe 2' at most.

The Can-am spyder is pretty fun to ride though. Took one for a test drive this summer....you can really haul them around corners. Problem is, the design encourages "spirited" riding. Within 5 minutes, I was pushing it hard enough to activate the stability control and popping the inside wheel off the ground. I had also bounced it off the rev limiter in fourth, which was around 90mph(fifth had no balls whatsoever...cruising only). Since it's so "easy" to drive fast, you find it's limits very quickly also. They do sick burnouts though if you have the manual clutch version.

I'd suggest taking one for a test drive, or if you ever see one for rental go for it. Within 30 min or so you'll be a "pro" Spyder rider, and really experienced everything the design has to offer. I'd never buy one.

Damn dude!! Now that's a really cool front end!! But I'm definitely not talking about the bike. The front wheels look too close together. I kinda like the rear end too. Just wish that damn bike wasn't in the way. I like the rear of the bike too, just not a big fan of that sportbike style tail fender setup. But that's just my opinion. Ed

Yea, now that I look at the bike Kj, the bike in your pic has a wider stance up front than the other max reverse trike pictured.

Thanks Rusty & KJ for posting the pics. The one I'm thinking of is very similar to the one you posted KJ, but it was clearly an 06 or 07 color sceme and set up the same way as the Can Am spyder.

Got to tell ya KJ .... that T-rex looks really sweet !!! First time I've seen that set-up !!

KJ there was a trike under those ****?:rofl_200:
We be rollin' on our 24's!:biglaugh:
