limiting my lean angle on this unfamiliar would have made me better prepared to deal with the road's change from positive to negative camber.

i had the crankcase repaired with jb-weld, bent the subframe straight. all i have to do is weld the passenger peg back on.

Is that you. Did you come out OK. I see some broken parts. Road looks poor, did you go off the edge.

looks like maybe too-much brake w/dirt on the road & a low-side. he was close to the edge but didn't appear to go-off.

That road used to be all dirt & gravel back in 1966. I was a 16 year old kid, growing up in the San Fernando Vally. Your vid brings back many memories for me. I used to ride my brand new Hodaka 90 through there. I used to think I was going really fast.:rofl_200: I learned too, so take it easy.:biglaugh:

yeah, that was me last monday. i broke a few parts but nothing that couldn't be welded, bent or jb-welded together. the crackcase got punctured but i was able to ride the bike home. all and all it wasn't a bad crash to have and i even stayed on the road.

the road is pretty dirty but i crashed because i used lean angle to compensate for bad line selection. i should ride slower and more cautious

Sorry about the crash. Try and get something done to the bike that you have wanted to do and make it better than before it went down.

Sorry about the bike but glad to see you were able to walk away. Better to hurt the pocket book then the body if you have to pick one!

+1, only bruised the pride. great thing you were able to "walk away".

the moment after i crashed and realized that i was ok, i was so happy that i laughed about the damage. a trip to the hospital probably costs more than the whole bike. besides call me cheap but i have more scars than tattoos.

That looked like a on/off road bike, at least with those hand guards on it. Just be glad it wasn't your Vmax cause that might have been much worse.

Did you target fixate on the side of the road?
