I'm sure Morley or someone else with more experience will chime in, but I think you are asking for trouble... It may work for a while, but I think you will end up with a 2nd ruined crank. I'm sure it depends on the severity of the damage, but I would be willint to bet it will happed again. This is one problem with this engine.... I've been trying to think of some way to make new bearings with replaceable thrust journals, but I think it would be an expensive process....
Maybe we should all donate to the cause, get Morley a mill set up just for this and let him fix this issue!!!
