Died in flight

I was riding to work this morning, I had gone about 12mile when all of a sudden the bike shut off, not a spudder then died shut off, more like someone hit the off button kind of shut off, all guages and light went out. I pulled the clutch in and coasted into a parking lot, I peaked around at some stuff but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. I then tried to start it and it fired right back up and rode the rest of the way to work without any issues. My battery is getting weak, but I dont think that would cause this. Does anyone have any ideas before I dig further into this. I have to ride it home from the shop tonight so I will see if it happens again

I would double-check the connection of the main fuse, and the fuse itself.

My ignition switch connector was pretty corroded - caused some wierd cut out problems. I packed every connector on the bike with di-electric grease & I've never had a prob since. I also dis-assembled the switch itself & greased it too.

Thanks guys, I will check both of those, and I will also probably go through and clean all the connectors also.
