Disappointed with Stage7 Build Quality.

I have a stage 7 kit on the bike, and pulled the filters to service them. When I took the breather off I had a good look at the construction of the breather tubes to the filters.

As discussed elsewhere it's pretty poor quality tube, but what concerned me is that it's a loose fit INSIDE the filter fittings, and is held in place by heatshrink over/through the plastic braid. This means that when there is vacuum air can get into the 'clean' side of the filters through the braid.

I'm currently thinking about getting some correctly sized tube for the filter fitting and making an adaptor to suit. Has anyone else come across this or come up with a fix?

Lots of different options have been considered to eliminate and or bypass the stage seven recovery tank. I don't like to use them normally as the front carbs can get a little gummed up from the oil mist.
