I think so, but I thought I remembered a couple guys here trying them and having good success with them even though they are china made, just wondering if these were the same ones.

they look it, hard to tell for sure, redbone, jedi and i think KJ have them and could probably tell.

Yup, I'm running them. I haven't had a lick of problems with them, definate improvement. They've been on the bike not quite two years now.

This winter I'm going to get another set and the rear adaptor from Jedi so I can put one on the rear, like his and Brian's setup.

They would be from the same manufacturer. China often has a generic oem manufacturer and stuff is often rebranded.
Not long ago I think I found the direct source on Alibaba website.

Myself and others have been running them and personally I have no issues and bought some more for my 88 bike. I have no hesitation in saying they are good.

I'd be interested in splitting the two rotors with you if you decide to go ahead with the rear conversion. It would be nice to have them on the back, although I thing it would be more cosmetic than functional.

That would be cool, I'm planning on buying the second set in January. Brian was telling me a while back that they do improve the brakeing in the rear, even more so due to it being larger than the stocker rotor.

OK. I'm game whenever. Just tell me when to send you money, or tell me to buy them, and tell me where to send the spare.

Do I need to get a new rear MC or lines or caliper? If you need to order any of those, let me know and I'll get the identical stuff, or order two and send one to you, or vise versa.

My bike is a '90 max, if that matters.

Just let me know.

I also bought mine from 'saveyourbuy'. I'm not sure about the ones from 'tobyhuang', they look slightly different to me, and if they are no-one here has any experience with those. It is, however, quite likely that they are from the same Chinese source. I would still go with the 'tried and trusted' myself - same price anyway.

I'm also interested in getting an extra one for my rear wheel (and one more adapter from Jedi), so if anyone else wants to split a set let me know.

Only thing is, I'm gonna be parking the bike next month as I'll be going abroad again for a while, so it's either very soon or some time next year.

the price is a hell of a lot more but I just got a note that they are offering a sale from Galfer and I would pass the savings on here. By 2 floating wave rotors and get the wave rear for half price. Still would cost a lot more then the ebay copies.

The Sunpro tach, AutoMeter oil press, and water temp gauges, I picked up from Jegs, and for the speedo I took a tip from a sport bike forum and put on a mountain bike cycle computer. So far no problems with it.

Going to start a new thread about this topic. Will be interesting to see the various gauge setups out there.

Mountain bike 'puter? How does it work - SatVav styley? Where does it get its speed reading from?

Here is one of the sites I looked at before making my choice.

I went with a Sigma BC906 here are the specs. I scored it for about $20.

You might like it cause it displays in 7 languages. So your ride can be in French :clapping:

Yep, I think the larger rotor has a bit to do with it, I even put HH pads on the rear. Jedi's adapter works perfectly too! I can still lock it up but it has much more feel than the stocker did, which seemed to lock up very easily.
Besides the wavy rotors look way cool too! :thumbs up: :thumbs up:
