I think the 500 and 750 cc Harleys that are coming out now will kill Harley for good.

I've heard that the next generation of Harleys will have to be water cooled to meet US regs.

That won't help either.

Harley Davidson has to be the biggest Snake Oil sales mans dream. Agricultural engineering sold at Lamborghini pricing to people with rose tinted glasses who buy into the hype and delude themselves into believing that they own a piece of America. The British bike industry took this arrogant route in the 70's and ended up shattered when the Japanese improved the design and sold a bike that actually ran reliably and didn't piss oil out of every orifice.

I actually like it...wish I knew more about it (specs), but it looks like it has clean lines, it's sleak and has a mono shock in the rear. I'd think it'd be light & nimble...but it's a Harley so not sure yet...

I like it too. However The battery life is useless

Harley Davidson is set to recall hundreds of thousands of its motorcycles. The manufacturer of the iconic American brand has finally admitted there are serious problems with it's entire range of motorcycles. They are frantically working on the problem that all Harley owners experience…namely the extreme fear of the motorcycle being caught out in the rain, which in turn causes the motorcycle to ins...tantly corrode and appear dirty! Also the company is to review it's practice of giving a years free membership of HOG away with each new machine as this has been found to cause the owners to suffer from IA Syndrome (Instantaneous Arsehole Syndrome) causing the owner to look down on all other motorcyclists and rendering them incapable of communicating or socialising with other motorcyclists. No timescale has been mentioned yet for a cure to the problems…but don't hold your breath….they haven't managed to do anything about it in the last 100 years! LOL!!!!
