Watching this can help you to learn about simple fabrication using hand-held power tools and a welder. he shows how to make mounting flanges, brackets, intake and exhaust tubing, welding or tapping bungs for plumbing oil feed/return, gas tanks; gaskets and more. Similar to the kid with the face mole & an English accent, working on a VMax, w/similar fabrication needs.
A pic of what you could do with your new-found skills:
The Virago V-twin has some things it needs, like a skidplate for that exposed carnkcase, as all your work would be for nothing when you break the exposed crankcase on a rock. I also don't know the purpose of the 'skis' and welded chain on the bottoms of the fork tube sliders. The instruments halfway-out the handlebars, look like they would be vulnerable in a spill. Returning them to their traditional mounting position above the top fork downtube bracket would also make them easier to read. Maybe he's trying to honor the 'ingenuity' of the VMax's tank-mounted tachometer?
