Hi Guys,
Does anyone know the weight carrying capacity of the factory backrest/rack? I will be going on a road trip in a few weeks and I have a rather large tourmaster bag that loops over the backrest and rests on the rack. The bulk of the weight will obviously be on the rack. I'm sure I could just use common sense here but have any of you guys used the same setup for carrying luggage? I don't want to create a hazard on the road for myself or others. I considered turning the bag around so it sits on the seat but then I would have to remove it for fueling up. Thanks.
