We are closing at the end of the month (another victim of the economy!) !

Wow, sorry for your business decision. I may have to look hard at your product for the closeout pricing. Is the faux tank cover a stand-alone item that you use the stock lock/latch mechanism to secure & you swap it over? How does it fasten at the front, are there cups to accept the stock rubber 'ears'? Thanks.

Gary, thanks for the link, I did look at their site before posting & saw the item & description. I wasn't sure about the faux tank mounting method though it says the stock latch is used, i wondered about the front method of attachment.

May have to get some of this stuff.

Well my lid came in the mail today... Have to say I'm really impressed. Feather light and strong... like ounces. Now I have to talk myself out of getting more.
