Final Drive Pinion

Hi guys, I have been learning a bit about the Vmax final drive pinion shearing off as this has just happened to my sons '88 Vmax. Although the job is not too involved if I have an exchange pumpkin. Quoted yesterday at $2000.00AU to have it repaired. Far too expensive! Has someone got advice as to where I can purchase a second hand drive shaft and used differential. Otherwise we will try to sell it as is.

Here is what you need for $100 US + shipping. You could ask the seller to ship to you. If they wont, or are way out of line, one us here could ship it to you. Just pay for it, ship to one of us, and we ship to you. Im sure shipping is not cheap but cheaper than 2K. Another option may be to try and get in touch with forum member Jedi. He is in NZ. He may be ablee to repair it? I cant speak for him though. Sean morley may have a way to contact him directly.

I have good used units on hand. Even got a venture diff we coated up and just got done putting together. it's got a couple of blemishes but still looks nice. I'm going to post it up in the Muscle sale section shortly.
