First impressions of the VFR800

Wow just wow!!!! Rode the VFR to work today 50miles. This is by far so far the most comfortable smoothest bike I have rode! And it handles like a dream!!! My ass didnt hurt one bit. It gets up and goes not close to the max but it does ( exhaust, emissions delete, and power commander will help next year ) but I am very very impressed im lucky I didnt ride one before the max because I may have never even bought it lol someone slap me. I cant wait I got a whole set of givi monlocks with brackets coming I stole from a guy on the VFR forum I couldn't pass up the deal. He took my offer. Lets just say this it was $225 dollars less than what he asked for them 2 months ago when he put them on first.. im so glad for people on this forum like kyle he was nice enough to pick them up for me down in tampa and is going to mail them up... I cleaned it for the first time there was alot of grease caked on from the chain stuff she looks new now!

Right now thats my only garage besides my 12x12 shed.. untill I get a garage built at the house.

Next 50 miles home thats all. Still needs a little more power lol spoiled by my max

Which one the cases or the bike hahaha. I bought the paint at napa. I love the dark metallic blue. Actually painted a couple things on the vmax with the same paint.. gauge face plate, radiator insert and scoop inserts

Thanks!! Pictures hide flaws lol. I won't lie. Paint didnt flow well its not very smooth and I have 2 visible runs... over winter im going to redo it. Two pieces at a time instead of them all at once. Also going to do base coat clear coat. After research single stage in metallic you cant really buff it. So unless you do a great paint job your screwed. The black single stage flowed like a champ tho on the few parts I painted.

It already went threw my mind its already a V4 in the vfr man would it be sweet to drop a chain drive engine in there lol. They now have a 1200vfr but it looks like shit in my opinion lol but I think once theres a power commander and exhaust on her she will open up. Its my first bike with 6 gears its wierd. Just alot of down shifting because im used to my max being in 5th at 30 mph and be able to still go no problem lol
