Well I managed to squeeze in a quick 40 Mile ride today out along Lake Erie.
I even ran into a young guy (Nick) with an 07 Max from out along the lake.
I took some pictures of some of the Multi-Million Dollar Houses out there but I didn't think to get a picture of our 2 VMaxes together.

No pics but I had my first ride of the season today too. One good short burn out(50 feet) and a quick blast to 140+mph, easter is good this year!

Craig you would be right. I put 49 miles on my bike and i here 2 of our great hooligan friends in gr area hve put over 100 miles. Nice job on eating a haley for lunch but you shoudent be eating all that junk. But you did get $200 out of it. :punk:

I have a know it all neighbor which I bought a piece of lawn art Honda from last year. While working on that, I got a taste of what his work looked like. He knows NOTHING about V-Max and little more about Harleys. Anyway he was bragging about putting in an 88ci kit which he told me was like 1300cc (Must be the new math... as remember it 88ci would be about 1442cc-but what do I know) he was also putting some "big pipes" and changing the exhaust cams plus he was doing the head work himself (he doesn't know anything about porting, but how hard could it be?)

Well things got a little heated and I made him put up $100 on a drag race or $200 for best 2 of 3) That was durring the winter. Well when I went by his house on Saturday he had the bike running (which was a real surprise to me) So I got him to settle up on the race. The first run (with the wind) I launched in 2nd gear and shortshifted to 3rd. Even with all that, I rolled back the throttle a bit to keep him close. Well he wiped out another $100 for race 2 (into the wind) This time I gave him the real max. I launched at 6000 in 1st. The road was dirty and I got just the right amount of wheel spin, did my upshifs at 9200. He didn't even stop to talk- just blasted by me like I was sitting still (wait... I WAS sitting still) and rode to his home. That cool launch was a mistake the when right. Most of the ime I only can spin my tire on a painted strip or something.

That was soo much fun. I should take off 100lbs and start racing again...

How can anyone who knows anything at all not know what a VMax is? :ummm:

I would love to meet a guy like that, with more money than brains. All the guys I usually ride with are great riding buddies, but they ride HD's, VTX's, Boulevards, Furys and the like. They don't even bother trying to run me. That's one of the reasons I like riding with y'all so much, you guys keep me humble. :biglaugh:

I got to put about 70 miles on the bike on saturday. It was sweet. :clapping:

Good story Craig, I am looking at 3' tall snowbanks and a fresh 2" of snow is falling. At least it's covering up the dirty snow..:confused2:
At The rate I'm going I will not be able to ride until sometime in May so keep the rides and pictures coming!

Boogers BB, that sux!! :bang head: It'll just be that much sweeter when it does arrive....at least for those 2 days before the black flies and deer ticks wake up! :biglaugh:

I hope I can at least get those two days BD! But then it's mosquito's, moths, then there is the July fly season. No, I don't mean "fly" as in cool/ in style, I mean the annoying, swarming and make a mess when you ride into them flies. (Spring Icebreaker 2010!!!) There is also the fish fly or some call them may fly's that swarm at night around lights in July, gas stations especially, that make the ground slippery with their slimey dead carcasses, gotta be careful or your front end can wash out or you can spin out on them as well. :bang head:
Thanks, BD, I can't wait till this snow is gone!:rofl_200::rofl_200::rofl_200::rofl_200::rofl_200::rofl_200:

Well Its just the way my bike looks--- windshield, shaft drive, stock pipes, fat guy on board... Must be a tour slug. And that old guy can't possibly know how to shift. If I had the money, I'd have Sean open up the motor and make the Ultimate Q Ship.

I have to be careful, Drag racing is an addition. I could easily spend a zillion dollars.

Dont worry craig all of us hooligans will help you spend your winnings at lunch when we ride and that way you wont waste all that money on going faster.

Sounds like a plan to me!

The long range forecast says we should have riding weather the 13th and 14th but little before then

That will give me time to finish my 1500 upgrade.

(BMFG)

My weather man. The ridding life is so good for me. I have a weather man a camera man a vmax engine tech and bunch of hooligans to enjoy it all with. I cant wait. Well weather man im gonna have to line up with your 1500 and see what you have in you. If its a 1500 from the few that i know you would have build for you it should be fast as hell and walk away from me. But can you do it. I dont think i will be putting any money on this race.

I think we need to line em up again Mike...........:biglaugh:..............This time let's run the Metzlers and make it interesting!.........:punk:.........Tom.

Watching you in my rearview tommy is not interesting Metzler or no Metzler

Ate a Harley for lunch and got $200 for doing it!

Don't you know eating those things will give you INDIGESTION !!

I promise to get away from eating junk food... Real soon now!

Mike... I wasn't sure the extra CCs would be enough so I went to direct port injection, NO2, and a centrifugal supercharger . Got her fired up and took her for a ride. Got her pointed straight and twisted the grip... Then I woke up. Damn! It would have been so fast.

Damn weatherman that's kinda like f****** up a wet dream

Im thinking about riding to lunch before i go to work.

Bit cold, but I rode enough to run out of gas... at 80 miles. I guess all that testing of the new to me **** light eats more gas then cruising. Big problem was the engine died before the light came on. After I switched to reserve and rode a few mile the light came on--- So I guess it still works

Looks like Sunday will be the best riding for about another week or so. One of these days I hope its warm enough to wash the bike
