I like the look. Not to overpowering with the bright blue but just enough to turn heads. Since you saved so much on the paint, maybe think about recovering your seat. Carry the stripe through the middle then have the cover match the white and stich it all up in the engine blue piping...but again that is me and my vision. I like anything different and your already there, great work.

I went looking on the net for vmaxs that had custom engine paint jobs and honestly, I didn't find much, which I find kind of strange.

I did find this one and do like the way he blended the engine color into the whole paint scheme.

Like I said before, I really like the concept of changing the engine color from it's traditional black or silver colours. Would love to see other examples of it his.

I'm with some others.

If you want the engine blue then the stripes on your bodywork and maybe a few other accents on the bike should be as well.
The way it is it just looks like some one painted the engine blue on a finished bike that wasn't planned for a blue engine.

Go blue/blue accents on more of the bike and maybe it will flow better.

Just a thought... Just need some light blue vinyl. A good sign shop with good quality vinyl should be able to wrap the scoops and side covers and cut you a nice stripe. This way if you want to change it you can just pull it off and you still get to keep the nice white paint

Ugh. Makes the Rattlecan Special I picked up look good. Sorta of a sin to do this to a Vmax that did nothing to you. An innocent victim of one mans misguided vision. A travesty and commentary on downfall of common decency of mankind and artistic freedom. Mothers around the world are asking how a child could go so so wrong. I'd rather see it turned into a "Rat" bike than this.

I have to imagine olympic or intense blue would be a pretty damn close match... you could almost order a roll and try to cut and wrap the parts yourself. This is 3m vinyl I used at the sign shop I used to work at. 3M's 180 line was pretty easy to work with. A sign shop should be able to order this with pre-mask over it and you could cut it up. The pre-mask gives the vinyl some rigidity and it peels off once your done just like a die cut decal.

I think even just the blue included as almost a pinstripe with the black thick stripes would be enough to tie it all together.

I like it! Everyone has different taste and as long as you like it that's all that really matters! I really like how everything is white and the only thing I would do to make it more to MY taste is to paint the stripes to match the engine. But, great job in making it to your specific taste. Only other thing would be to put Blue LED lights on it to really make it stand out at night.
