FJM Clutch master cylinder

Ive recently picked up a FJM master cylinder for my clutch (I have the DD Mod). It didnt come with a clutch lever, can I re use my stock Vmax lever? Also the master is a bit dingy, what would be the best way to brighten it up? Powdercoat or paint?

Powder coating would require removing the plastic window so it doesn't melt.........painting would be easier....if you use caliper paint it would more resistant to fluid spillage............

i have an abs 05 FJR master and no definitely not.

i got some ebay cheapo adjustable levers and love them.
