Fort Jackson S.C. Area

Heading to Fort Jackson South Carolina for a two week school, will be there 17-28 Sept, I hope to have evenings and the middle weekend free, anyone from the area have any advice on a great ride and/or want to link up for a ride.

I am planning to pull the bike down on a trailer....ya I know big wuss, but 1800 miles (leaving from Des Moines, IA) on a VMAX (stock seat) plus the need to have clothing and other things for two weeks necessitates the need for a car but I want to have the bike too.

I'd be towing too Chuck so don't feel bad. Riding is still nice around those parts so I hope someone is able to show you the area. Have fun!

one correction, it is 18 hours instead of 1800 miles, it is only 1100 miles....still going to pull the bike.
