Friday the 13nth is alive and well

Today, while going to my girlfriends work to meet her for lunch,
I thought i`d take the toll road to get there quicker and , I had my daughter with me and everytime she is with me , she somehow manages to distract me in one way or another.
so as things would have it, I was explaining something to her when I noticed that I had driven right past the toll booth exit.:bang head::bang head::bang head:
so I have no choice but to keep going.
On the way back, I stopped at the toll booth and explained what happened and theperson gave me a card with the online address to pay the toll online but when I looked it up , all that came up was Illinois and texas .when I looked up California , it came with..noresults found:bang head::bang head::ummm:fortunately my girlfriend had a card with the main office ph.# on it so I was able to pay it:eusa_dance: and then when I got home I went into the kitchen to make a simple glass of ice water, as I was filling the cup with ice from the tray my cup fell over spilling all my ice onto the floor and when I bent down to pick it up I managed to somehow knock the Ice tray and what little ice was left in it onto the floor.:damn angry::damn angry::damn angry:
I`m not usually supersticious but I think I`m going to stay home and keep away from the fridge for the rest of the day.:confused2::ummm::confused2:

I had a F&%$ you friday too. Being the 13th didn't help. I can't even explain it.

Got the starter clutch in , freshly painted front fender on and Morley's jet kit finished yesterday and cranked the C.F. / black '98 up for a test run and the bottom falls out. Rained for 3 1/2 hours. we needed the rain though , so maybe today ??

:bang head::damn angry:Today was a direct continuation of yesterdays bulls@!T
While riding home from Laguna Beach, I got stuck behind some ass hole who felt like creating a traffic jam and causing some havoc on the roadway.
This S.O.B. was driving so slow for so long that my bike overheated and he smoked my clutch.
I guess the only that I made it home ok was that I speed shift when up shifting and only used the clutch to down shift but when I finaly got on the freeway and tried to pass a slow car, I twisted the throttle and the tach rose but the bike didn`t:bang head::bang head::bang head::bang head: and to add to that the bike is only running on 3 cyls (I think it`s a fouled cop)
so, now I don`t know what the hell to do, once again the bike is down for how long ??
I have no idea cause I got no money for a clutch new or used :damn angry::damn angry::bang head::bang head::damn angry::damn angry:

Pull the plates out and look at them, soda blast them of they're not warped to give them grip. As for the clutch itself I had the same problem a few years back and ended up being the oil I was using. At least that was the only thing I changed and its worked fine since.
