I have a new 06 with 3300 miles on it. When I bring the front wheel off the ground and spin it, it makes a rubbing noise on the brakes in some spots.

Is this normal? Is there a way to fix this and make the noise go away?

Is it squeaking? Or just a plain dragging noise! Pads should drag evenly all the way around.
How do the pads look? Worn evenly?
Can you notice any warping of your rotors?

It's definitely a dragging noise, but it's not consistent... their's NO noise/dragging and then all of a sudden their's some...

and then back to no noise again.

I haven't taken the pads off yet - maybe I should do that? :ummm:

And the rotors don't look warped or feel funny/deep groves, etc....

It sounds like normal brake noise to me.
