I'm getting ready to install radials and I am looking at putting a spacer between the front fender and the fork brace. Since the bike is in storage :sleep:I would like to find out what length of spacer that I need to have in order to have the same clearance from fender to tire as stock.

Will be installing a Metzeler Roadtec Z6 110-80ZR18 tire.

 Mike

According to the tire calculator, the stock 110/90/18 is 25.8 inches in diameter and a 110/80/18 is 24.93 inches. That should mean the tire is about 1/2 inch shorter from the axle to the fender. You might want to wait till you fit the tire and see if you really need a spacer.

Now to get a gps to figure how far off the speedometer is.
