After many delays, health issues are finally forcing the sale of my 2003 Vmax
It’s got just over 8,800 miles and runs great. I bought it with 5,200 miles on it and haven’t ridden it much due to several bad discs in my back. In the past year / 1,500 miles I replaced the tires, changed the fluids and put in new front brake pads. I installed a manual fan switch just in front of the ignition key – which really helps keep the bike running cool in the Summer. I also replaced the battery a year and a half ago.
The previous owner used to park it outside, and there is some oxidation/pitting on the wheels, scoops, top of the engine casing and on the reservoir covers. (See my photos)
The paint is great and except for the comfort accessories below, it is mechanically stock and runs very strong. With my options, the bike is set up as a mini-tourer, so just gas it and go!

-Corbin Seat
-Yamaha backrest w/Willie & Max tailbag
-Willie & Max saddlebags (shown in older picture - I don't use them now)
-Extended, tinted Erickson Windscreen
-Handlebar riser
-Engine guards with highway pegs/pads
-Taller highway mirrors (from Morley’s Muscle)
-2nd set of retro style chrome mirrors (also from Morley’s Muscle)
-Heavy duty outdoor Harley Davidson cover
-Handlebar mounted clock
-Battery leads for charger installed
-Clymer Repair Manual
-Yamaha owner’s manual
Original parts included:
-Stock seat
-Stock Mirrors
-Stock turn signals
-Stock toolkit
-A spare set of OEM exhaust pipes - only 200 miles on them (were a friend's)
I’m asking $6,200 for everything OBO. If a buyer is not interested in some parts, we can talk.
The bike is in NYC area, and I would be willing to consider delivery within a 50 miles radius. Mileage may increase slightly as I try to ride a little on good days when my back is up for it.
