And they literaly lost a new set of billet tripple trees last year which I've made for a member here.
They paid 100$ refund tho Im not sure I should cry or smille...

In 2011 i had exactly the same issue. I sent a set of triples to US as well and they got lost. I suggested he would complain to Paypal to receive the money back as paypal was supposed to insure the items and i got screwed and they took the money from my account (im glad i had already withdrawn the money to my bank account) and got negative balance. Tried to reason with paypal and even sent them proof of shipping (copies of the invoice and customs papers all according). They told me that until item is delivered its sellers responsibility (why the hell we pay a fee?). I filed a claim in the post here and it took them 2 months to come to the conclusion that they have lost the package (almost 10kgs of package) on the USPS side. I called USPS in the US and did the buyer and we never were able to track it down. I got a compensation of 170 euros (100 euros for the original shipping quote and 70 for the item itself according to weight) i was burning at that time... I told paypal to go **** themselves (in a nice manner) and they shutdown my account. 6 months after the package arrived looking like it went for around the world 6 times full of stamps and all smashed. the items were in good condition so i contacted paypal and told them it had arrived and for them to undo what they did and they did not. Just told me to tell the buyer to pay for it again and he did. i got my balance back to order and my account still suspended. They told me i was involved in fraudulent activities and kept my account shut down. I even had some money sent to me in the meantime and was unable to withdraw for 180 days go figure. After that i removed all my balance and never used it again. Using my wifes now, introducing her to the scam and fraud world... LOL In the end i got the compensation that the post here gave me... It was the only item i got lost ever! and it turned up after half a year... Good story hein?

Don't think so Danny. For a 10Oz package says the following:

International Priority small flat rate box - $24.75
International First Class - $14.90

Online prices are a buck and half cheaper... Though i think the package will weigh more than 10 ounces. He lives in the Netherlands.

Fred....how you gonna get a VMax carburetor in a box 8 5/8" X 5 3/8" X 1 5/8"? :biglaugh:

There's no Int'l First Class on a 4# package....which was what I guesstimated the weight at altho it may be more like 3#...still no First Class tho.

Don't use the given USPS boxes... Click the package icon below and insert weight. You are right if you choose the predetermined USPS boxes but if you show up with your own as long as it doesn't go above the quotes weight shouldn't it be accepted? At least the first class tab doesn't mention any dimensions...

That's correct, no dimensions as long as there is nothing over 12" but they locked me out of first class, only priority int'l., but it could be a totally different story at the PO, you never really know how it will turn out. I don't like shipping internationally because of all that....then customs and duty and all that is another hassle.

yeah i KNOW what you are talking about... Believe me its way worse for us than you guys...
