Gen 1 wheel rim on gen 2, is it possible?

I have a gen 1 vmax rim from fischer Customs. 7” wide and 17” in size. Was wondering can you toss It on gen 2? Or does one Need to modify something.

Wow that's a monster width. Must have been built for a dragster, it requires a big-notch in the swingarm.

No, it's not going to fit a Gen II.

No, it's not going to fit a Gen II.

No idea what’s it been made for.
Has a 200 wide tire on it and rim pokes out a bit so could easily fit a 240 on it if the bike could handle.
Oh well. Would have been too easy. Parting that bike out and selling the parts.
