Gen 2 Engine Stains

Having a cosmetic issue with my motor.

My engine has these stain looking spots the right side. They look like from water sitting on the block. I've been trying to clean them off but haven't been having much luck.

Has anyone else ever dealt with anything like this? Or had any success cleaning then spots?

If the paint is damaged there isn't much of a way to fix it is there?

I also have some stains like that. My guess is salt water. Mine are a little worse. Rubbing Sprayway glass cleaner on them helped some. I also had some pretty bad corrosion under the rubber plug in the bottom of the V. I've got it all cleaned and primed but I can't seem to find the color code for these engines
