Im trying to get the geometry right with the R1 forks left stock length. i want to get the same swing arm angle as stock.

Could someone out there give me a measurement please...

When the bike is sitting vertical, without a rider, the ground to swing arm pivot centre is the one I need.

I managed it on my xjr so hopefully I can get the max right...

I went out to measure mine, but it's stuck on the center stand. Literally... I mean, I'm rocking it back and forth trying to get it down and it's just sliding across my garage floor. I'll see if I can't get you a pic later when I try again.

This may help get you close.
With my Stock Size Rear Tire and Front End lowered 1/2" I got this:
13.375in (13-3/8in) = 339.72mm - Bottom of Swing Arm Pivot Cap
16in = 406.40mm - Top of Swing Arm Pivot Cap
Therefore on my setup:
Center of Swing Arm Pivot Cap = 14.687in or (14-5/8in) or 373.06mm

If my Front end was raised back up that 1/2" these numbers would raise a little but it isn't much. I'd guess 1/8 to 1/4 inch at most.

Got a picture. My bike was probably leaning about 5 degrees towards the left due to my jack stands. Maybe less, though. Here's the pic I got. Stock suspension.

Cheers guys...interesting.....about an inch between your two measurements...wouldn't have thought 5' would make that much difference....I'll have to do a mock up and see if it does...

But thanks for the info.... :)

Take a measurement on the right side, add it to the left, divide by 2 and that should account for leaning. IF the floor is level.

Id measure mine but its not stock. I asked for similar measurements but figured the top bolt for the rear shock would be a good reference. See this thread:
