Got a package today..(Hint Chrome Pics)

Hey gang. Been awhile since I’ve been here. Got married to my lovely lady last year (3rd times the charm) , Bought a house ... had a surgery a few months ago..

Well, the warm weather is here..well it was for a minute..whatev.


Finally got the max uncovered and washed this year. Somehow washing still didn’t do much justice. Those pesky faded aluminum SCOOPS..




Well, there’s a way to solve this problem once and for all. (that I’ve been dreaming of since aug 2012.)

Morley. MORLEY CHROME SCOOPS. I’ve seen pics of his chrome work, and they look good.
But HOLY SHNIKEYS to see them in person.

Anyway, I fired off payment to morley just a few days ago, so I hoped I’d get them by this weekend.

Meanwhile… Today I was expecting some lil chrome “Vmax” brake and clutch covers (found on ebay for stupid cheap), come back from lunch, and sitting on my chair at work,,a small package (the covers) AND.. a BIG CARDBOARD BOX. That could only be 1 thing. (well 2, as theres 2 chrome scoops from the fantastic Mr Morley).

I’ve attached (well, gonna try) some photos. My faded scoop..Banged up box, and Morley’s CHROME scoops. J

The box was labeled fragile but beat dented and smashed and partly open. ( think this was USPS as theres a sticker, but could be a used box)

Anyway..NO DAMAGE to the scoops, as Sean wrapped each one in paper, then cardboard, then in the box. Thank you!!

These are beautiful in person.
Sorry for the jumping around incomplete sentence posting..just soo excited.
I will take more pics when they are on the bike…

Thank you all. Agreed with every post.

I will say it again (in case theres new folk around)..

The quality of the chrome is fantastic. I'll even nake up a word: chrometastic.
As if that is not enough, Sean Morley (one2dmax) is an absolute pleasure to deal with.. still.
(And he really did NOT pay me to say that. - yes it was a legit business transaction).
