My 92 looks like it was not started for at least 5 years, srored under rain.
I poured ATF in cylinders, manually turned crank a few times to get rid of ATF and installed plugs.
I turned crank with starter and it sounded like only one or 2 cylinders had compression. Today (2 days later) I finally checked compression:
in order of testing:
cyl 1----130 PSI
2--------120
4--------100
3---------90
Battery was discharging from first to last cylinder, so compression got lower and it is still great in my opinion after 5 years of not running.
there is a pretty long way to starting engine:
carbs cleaning
fuel tank derusting
throttle cable replacement
ign. coils replacement
