I've had this Tracy Designs "Gauntlet" mini fairing for as long as I had the Max.
I never really got it to fit right, and most of it's 28 years were spent knocking around the garage, unused. I took another stab at it when I converted to drag bars last year, but it fit even worse.

Had a brainstorm today, and had a friend do a bit of surgery on the screen. He cut off a couple flaps of plastic that were keeping the fairing from fitting closely to the bars.

Here's the result.... However, it's fricken SNOWING here in Western NY, so the 100mph test will have to wait a bit.....

Is this damn bike turning into a cafe racer????

A functional Wind Screen..
Wow!!
I bought a National Fly Screen that deflects wind into me, me thinks!! But, looks pretty cool, lol!!

Especially during heavy rains, due I wish something to deflect the water!!

But I've decided to go Mad Max cool style and pay for it everytime I ride!
