After three proto's I finally had my perfect side mount license plate set up, with my V4MNSTR vanity plates on it, mounted I might add on a $50 chunk of chromed billet meant for a softail, and some ASS BISCUIT snapped the whole assembly off and made off with it while I was at lunch today.

So that's another hundred bucks, and another six weeks of running around with no plate.

Look around where you had it parked, see if there were any surveillance cameras?
You might get lucky and someone might let you check them out. Banks and government places, ie: Post Offices won't. But stores and restaurants might if you grease the right palms.

I had a Chevy emblem antenna stolen of my Silverado once. Luckily the store it happened at just happened to be managed by someone I went to school with. For twenty bucks, we saw who took it.
I went and took it back, and left a little note.

"I saw what you did,
I know who you are,
And If you touch MY **** Again!
I WILL SHOOT YOUR F*#@ING ASS DEAD!"

I think I still have the same antenna around here somewhere!

It attached at two points under the pillion where the rear fender originally bolts up. It was pretty heavy aluminum stock, but it looks like they just bent it back and forth until it got a fatigue crack and yanked it off whole.

Just a guess, but it might be some punk kid that thought the "V4MNSTR" plate would look cool on his bedroom wall and breaking the thing was the quickest way to get it off.
