gsx-r wheels?

I was checking out an 86 vmax this past weekend, the bike is beautiful, the owner said the wheels that were on it were gsxr wheels, it had the stock swingarm and shaft drive. My question is how hard and what year gsxr wheels would I need to switch mine over?

The builder of this wheel is not (as far as I've heard) currently making the wheels, but it will give you a good idea of what it takes to convert a GSXR to fit a Vmax.

Any wheel can virtually be used to make it work on a vmax, it all depends on amount of work involved... See below a vmax with a custom swinger and a vrod rear wheel

Honda VTR on one project I did and any of the aftermarket Harley type wheels
will work also and not a real lot of work.

Must he rochester area? Im from outside batavia. Saw a blue 86 with gsxr wheel forsale on Craig's list a couple years ago

That's the one I believe the bike was built by LCR Performance, it also had a nasty sounding kerker 4 into 1. Man the bike sounds awesome!!!
