As far as point of no return don't really care since eventually I'm going with something else anyway and the factory exhaust ain't worth enough resale to fool with...

Got that right. I bought a scratched set from eBay and tried to gut the cans completely just to see what I could do with the shell. Don't think it's possible to remove all the guts without destroying it all. Personally I think you did a good job with me knowing how well they are welded up. Good color exhaust too.
