it'll say do you want to save/open , i hit yes & in 20 secounds the screan turns black & says done , it looks like its my kodak picture site , but theres no picture !?????? But half the time , they open no problem !

these are .bmp (bitmap) pictures. Here on the Mac I just open them with Preview, but if you're on a PC I believe they should open in your usual Windows Media Viewer/Player.
In your browser prefs, you can usually also pre-select which application will deal with .bmp files, and if that's set wrong (to some app that can't cope) it may be your problem.
