Scored a free electric stove from a moving neighbor. I was curious if anyone here has any experience with the home powder coating setups. What would be the best bang for your buck equipment wise, and what kind of quality did you get. Thanks

Just powder coated a bunch of stuff for my TA at the
local college using the Eastwood product. For the larger
stuff you'll need a large heat lamp type setup. The
college has a 4 ft by 18 inch lamp setup so you can
heat up the metal so the coating will stick. Honesty it's
a lot of work and seems about the same as paint in my
experience. Epoxy paint baked in an oven seems about
as durable. Spoke to a buddy who also used this system and
he agreed. Maybe the pro stuff is tougher.

Thanks for replies so far. If its not as tough as a mower deck, then ill save my money. I used to get bike frames and all kinds of junk powder coated for free when i was a kid. My aunt worked at a place called agrifab that builds lawn equipment. The coatings were tough! and cheap LOL
