I hate to report this to you all but the sad fact is it really is the worst possible news.
:bang head:Announcement: Gone, they are all gone! The girls are all gone!!!! My computer crashed last night due to HD failure. I did have 2 HD's but the one with the girls on it is, of course, is the one that crashed!:bang head: In the process of getting HD replaced so I should be back online @ home soon, but in the mean time I will just have to post from work when I get time.

Sorry to have to relay the bad news to y'all. I will try to talk to my guildmate who gave me the link and access to the gaming website that had the pics, so maybe there is hope yet.:eusa_dance:

Damn it! First the financial crisis and now this...Sure, we can bail out the big money thieves on Wall St., but when we lose the hotties on your HDD, the government looks the other way!
I feel your pain!

If the Feds don't step in and take care of the 'Redbone Rescue', I'm moving to Canada!

Let them come! I have a surprise or two waiting for them!
1) I live in the U.P. and it's close to hunting season...more target practice!
2) I live in the U.P. and it gonna snow any day now...and it's cold too!
3) There are 2 casino's within 5 miles of my house so by the time they get done there they will be broke!
4) Did I mention it's almost hunting season?
:biglaugh:

I'm sure you know the data can be recovered. There are plenty of open-source disk recovery programs out there. Here are a few:
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/collection/collid,1295-order,1-c,downloads/files.html

I had a great tool (can't remember the name) that was just a free program that would boot from a CD and you could copy recoverable data to another drive. I'm sure it was an open-source program.

If the drive won't spin up at all and you really want the data, you can purchase an identical drive and swap the controller board from the good drive to the bad one. I've recovered data that way before.

I believe this is just as bad. Today, I placed the bike in front of car toward the rear of the garage due to the weather. A horrible yearly tradition when the weather gets cold and the car takes the bike's place as daily commuter. I am sure there will be days ahead where the bike will take its rightful place in front of the garage, but today I mourn.

I'm going to try to hold out until the snow flies before 'ol Redbone gets tucked away :damn angry: into the cozy basement.
Thanks guys for the ideas to recover the data:worthy:, the computer is 5 years old and needed to be formatted any way. I talked to my buddy so I can get access to that site again. I will just have to look at the 1500+ pages of girls to repopulate my files for you guys. I know it will be rough but I think I can work my way through it......:biglaugh:

You are a true team player and a genuinely selfless person. :)

Ok, I have my computer back up running and I have been going through the pain of reloading World of Warcraft. They just released a new patch for the upcoming release of "Wrath of the Lich King".
Of course, it totally screwed over all my mods so I have been chasing them down with a little success. Computer is running great and I have the access back to the hottie website....W00T!:punk:
