Just a neat little gizmo. I know its not going to be super accurate, but gives you a quick reference point.

140 hp vmax = 113 hp at the wheels..... so its not really far off.

Probably wouldn't work for chain-driven bikes though, they lose a lot less to the drivetrain.

MM/M makes a very valid point. This does not take into account in the loss differences between shaft drive, and chain or belt drives.

Also, this seems to be geared more towards cages, and I would assume that they have more driveline losses due to the larger transmissions.
