Speed on the water is exhilerating to say the least! My buddy had a Checkmate 22' with a 454 which would go about 70-75 mph which seemed fast until another buddy showed up with a 30' cat and with 4 of us in it we got up to 104 on the digital speedometer and it was sooo smooth compared to the checkmate v hull in the ~1' chop.
