Here at work things are BIG! I was able to get a picture of a service truck parked behind one of the shovels!

That's a Monster all by itself. They could use it on Terra Nova to battle Dinosaurs.....
Cool.....

What size is that bucket, something like 60 cu. yd? Or bigger? Last week I had its baby at a house I own for some demo work. Because of the value of the equipment, I had a guard dog to eat any trespassers. Next morning all I found were shredded rags and gnawed-bones, and one plump dog.:biglaugh:

Awesome. I'm still like a kid when it comes to the giant equipment. Still like watching the trains go by....especially the engines. Cool picture...would be fun to operate.

I spent a shift w/my older brother at the Boston yard where he was an engineer, he retired as the senior engineer, & he & his wife moved to-Milwaukee! So I can get good beer & German food & visit the H-D Museum when I go to visit them.

The sound of an engine powering-up still sends chills down my spine. After all, the modern engines are a great ex. of a hybrid vehicle! Did you know there is a little lever you have to insert into a receptacle on the control panel to make an engine go into reverse?

Hybrid, yes. Diesel engines that generate current for electric motors, almost instant torque. Know very little about them but each time I see them go by ( lots of train activity where I live ) I want to climb up in that engine...drive it. The power...pulling a 100 or more cars at 35 mph....damn neat! Like I said, I'm just a kid at heart dont imagine I'll ever grow up.
