I'm in the process of changing over my Cobras to Supertrapps...so I couldn't resist starting up the Max with open pipes...instant hard-on ( scientifically speaking of course )...:eusa_dance:

'If only' we could be blessed by a higher purpose like Harley guys who can ride around with open/straight pipes and get away with it...:bang head:

Did a 200 mile canyon ride on mine open headers one day just for kicks... I was partly deaf for HOURS! The novelty never really wears off but trust me, get on the freeway and get to about 5-6 grand and you will know why I put my mufflers back on! Can't blame you one bit though, that sound is epic.

And B. why cant someone design a type of header we could unhook like on our hot rods ? Something like a cut-out before the mufflers...:ummm:

There's the New England SummerNationals car show here in Wistah on July 4th weekend every year , we open the headers and drive around that way all weekend...talk about loud...unk:

you can do that with supertrapps basically, get one of the comp. ends.

i bet you could get something from summit racing to do a mod like that. that would be cool as **** to do though. i've been wanting to do that to my truck.

Did it on my 82 Nighthawk 750 chopper. Ran 4into 1 with a fat muffler then you hit the switch and it was on like Donkey Kong! Blowin flames and screaming! Then you blow by a cop sounding like a top fueler and hit the switch again... Stealth mode. Back to silent. It was a blast!
