On my way home from work tonight I couldn't help myself....after spending all winter working on her and just the other day I synced the carbs (what a diff that made.),I had all clear road ahead of me for as far as I could see on the highway so I opened it up for the first time since I've had the bike and quickly hit 135 before shutting her down...what a rush.I don't make a habit of doing this but there was no one in sight so I didn't need to worry about injuring anyone except myself. The bike ran flawlessly. The winters worth of work really paid off.later:rocket bike:

NICE!!!!!:clapping:

Good stuff!! Can't wait to blow the carbon out of my engine soon LOL.... Have had Snowmax up to 160+ mph, don't want to reveal true top speed cause ya never know when someone you don't want reading your posts does LOL. Just have to be careful with the cold roads around here still.

I guess I'm lucky. I work an odd shift at an industral park, The road is deserted every morning on the Highway to Hell. 100 to 130 or so every morning!:punk:

135 is the start when the VMAX gets exciting. I feel comfortable at 135 but its something that makes you squeeze your ass cheeks so tight together that ya couldnt hammer a pin up your ass with a 16lb sledge hammer over 140.
Its almost like every MPH after 140 is eternity and feels so damn fast on a VMAX in reality sportbikes run 185+ and its smooth as silk.
What really makes it exciting if it ever goes into a High Speed Wobble, or starts lane drifting

I don't think shitting my pants would be that exciting:biglaugh:

Ok, how about a rephrase then..

It will be scare the shit out of ya! :clapping:

(personally I have never shit my pants to a high speed wobble, but it will cause you to pull over and sit on a curb catching your breath as your heart pounds out of your chest with each beat.

Very nice indeed , wish i could do that but i have 1 thing to take into consideration - Police , theres too many of them around .:bang head:

I live in a rural area and I know most of the cops (deer hunting/ bikes/ 4 wheelers) in the area except the State boys, but they mostly run the main hwys. Running over 100 is a daily occurrence, and I get over 130 several times in a week. :punk:
Biggest thing to worry about is the friggin' animals that like to cross in front of you. Hitting a fat raccoon at 130+ would not be my idea of fun! :confused2:
