Hey All,

After maybe 15 years of having an Indiana Vmax Rally every Summer, there was none last year and nothing I know of planned for this year. Someone step up. Just pick a motel HQ, choose a Friday dinner and Saturday lunch & dinner location, lay out a decent road and schedule a ride. No big deal. August or Sept. are good months as they wont conflict with Thunder, Ozarks or what I hope is still an annual Michigan July rally. After all this criticizing the VMOA and claiming the Social Media provides all the contact and interaction needed, Where is Vmax Waldo??

Just Saying,

Alright Mr Rash! Great to hear you putting out the call. Having been to Indy, that is somewhat central to a lot. Might even pull some of the western Ohio/N Kentucky contingent in. Plenty of places to stay and see there. Quick hops out into the open hinterlands for some spirited riding!
Hope it comes together for you guys. Maybe your old carbon gal will show up.
Keep posting it up. Down our neck of the woods sees more VMF affiliated riders than VMOA though.

Very true Rick! Had a great time on the last Indiana get together!!

Has anyone heard when and where the Michigan event is????? :ummm::ummm::ummm:

If I was to pick a motel on the south side of Indy and set an August date, surely we could select a worthwhile route using an Indiana map. Heck, just riding to Story on two lane highway would probably work? I need at least 10 people to commit. I wont go to all the trouble and travel expense if only 3-4 will attend.

I am too far away to come but I'd like to throw my two cents in about a place to eat to help you all out. I have only eaten in Indiana one time in my life and it was possibly the best meal I have ever had. It was at "Das Dutchman Essenhaus" in Middlebury deep in Amish Country. They have family style dining, a buffet, and menu dining. The bakery that they have is amazing but you will probably be too full from the main course to partake in it.

Check it out!
