me and a few of my friends were just talking and wandering what is the most rare and common stock gen 1 vmax paints

i'd say 85 purple as rarest (not including carbon fiber effect and red and black flames from 05 and 07). Most common IDK

Burgundy and scarlet purple for 85's

They made a shit ton of 85's with most being the burgundy. The purple was rarer in THAT year. BUT, the later years they didn't make and sell as many. They had the carbon for 3 years so quite a few out there. I would say it's going to be the Silver year, maybe 90 Blue/Black, or even 2005 that they only did 2000 of.

I'd say most common is black - came in most years and I've seen so many!

Black came in a few years but only one year ever offered two colors which was in 85. Single year colors will be the rarest (90-95, 97, 05)

I like a few year colors. My favorite is my 97 silver I had many years ago. This winter I'm painting my 06 that same silver. Can't wait

I also like the metallic blue. There are so many nice colors. Lol

Mine was green for a while. Kawasaki green like on the ZRX. Not sure if I have any pictures of it then.

I seen a harley on craiglist around No Va area few months back with dragonfly green . Man I would have bought that bike just cause of the color !
