Key on, no forward lights...

I went to start my max, turned in the key, then turned my kill switch to on. All of the sudden my headlight, speedo light, and tach/temp lights go off with this *click* noise like a power surge relay being tripped... Any suggestions guys?

Did the fuel pump and vboost finish cycling? I had a fuel pump with a short in it that was blowing fuses and keeping anything past that point from working.

The click would have been the fuse blowing which was caused by a short circuit.

I would check to see if any bulbs have blown as this can cause the fuse to go. If they are OK then you will need to trace through the wiring loom.

Where is the fuse for the headlights and gauge lights?

Hey....Ive changed jets in the carbs at 330 in the morning...and then wondered why I couldnt get the carbs seated properly...It happens.
