Front or rear flasher LED in stock housing and lens

I made it with LED driving light
Dont mess with the bike it`s a Venture with a Vmax front end

At the front end the LED stays on as position light and when flasher goes to blink, the micro relay blink them off, this way highest visibility occur

Just a share :biglaugh:

very nice...... :clapping: would those be the ones sold by pepboys?
http://www.pepboys.com/product/details/879963/01036
also from amazon.

I was curious, if leds were used in the front and regular bulbs in the rear would a resistor flasher still be needed? I just picked up some white 1157 leds for my taillight and was thinking about getting another set for the front driving / turn lights and leave the turn bulbs in the rear for resistance. got a little bump in voltage just with the taillight leds. this is what I got.

Your second link (ending ..... B00EVOHRKC) look verry the same,

note that you have to destroy!! (dismantle) it and pick up only LED and reflector of it, then glue it in your yellow original reflector. (i did use ``permatex`` silicone)
Also, to make it fit nicely in original Vmax yellow reflector you`l have to cut two little `V` to give room for the screws, as shown below

For resistor selection; my Venture project dose not have original flasher relay anymore (I use; car Heavy Duty two pins flasher relay) but there are many solution on this forum.

Hope you did understand the fonction of the micro-relay

It`s a recent project but after 2.5K miles; everything work`s good.

If you go on and have any question, i can help, before you get an issue $$$

thanks for the info. I experimented with the 1157 leds from my taillight and put one in front turn signal with the bulb in the rear. It's brighter though not as bright as yours and the turn light is hyper flashing front and rear. I think I like it like that but won't know if the auto cancel will work til I get out for a ride. The led 1157's I picked up at walmart for 15 bucks for two. I'm going to pick up another set and see how it all plays out. Would the hyper flashing harm anything?
