Dont know if this has been covered , if it has , one of the moderators can delete this . I picked up a $7. LED truck side light at CAP ( Consumer Auto Parts here in NE ) Same size as the reflector that's in the grab rail and the holes even line up . You need to drill a small hole for the positive wire . Use a small length of wire for a ground between the LEDs ground strap and the bolt into the grab rail . The positive wire goes to the Yellow wire from the brake light , the Blue taillight wire is for the taillight ( running light ) itself , the Yellow is the brake light .
I've seen third brake lights on Ebay going for $60. or more and if that's your choice then have at it , for the thrifty ( re: cheap ) among us this is a pretty nifty little upgrade that will take you about 15 minutes to do .
