Closed the road here for a few days.

Brought in a 300T crane.

It took the crane company a day to set it up and install the jib.

Reached up to the top of a 300' tower, barely.

Couldn't get the crane any closer. It was nearly at the maximum radius. Lift capacity was reduced to less than 1T. Had to remove the old equipment piece by piece.
Installed a bunch of new equipment.

Notice the deflection of the boom!

Cool, did you take the picture Mike? If so, way more balls than me!:worthy:

No. I don't get out in the field much anymore but I've been there before.
Now, I'm at the desk 11+hrs most days. Or in the truck looking at opportunities.
The owner of our company ran into some medical issues a few years back.
I've been trying to keep things going since then.
I'd rather be the one taking those pictures.

That's cool, I used to walk trusses out on 3 story 2x4 walls but not anymore, even videos sometimes give me the heebie geebie's!

Sounds more dangerous than what my guys are doing. They wear a fully body harness and have the capability to tie off 100% of the time

I never did well with heights. Every year we'd disassemble the out riggers from the big sport fisherman, three floors up. Only one hand to hang on with, but legs wrapped tight on the rail. My least favorite job next to waste tank replacements. Fear of hitting something on the way down was always there.
