dont kill yourself today man. NO traction on cold pavement. ive gone sideways several times. one time i had just started to push myself up off the pegs to bail.. and it caught traction and picked itself back up. i almost sent my gen 2 on a road rash bath :(

Congrats Rick on your new Gen2 ! Bringing both to Thunder 2012 ? :hmmm:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family !

33 miles on Percie today, high temp of 37 and holiday commitments kept me from putting on more. deceptively fast and smooth , This is going to be fun!

No serious burnouts and only ran it up to 125 for a second.

Jeff I will only be bringing ONE of the girls to thunder, I hope you and yours had a great holiday!

I am not going to lie, I really want a gen2 lol I guess my gen1 will have to do for a few more years... Can't complain about that I guess :)

P.s. Congrats

Footnote I love my gen I and she will never be "replaced" . Ive wanted a gen II since before they were released and there was no way I could afford one. Then A fellow forum member posted a video about the differance of just "one degree" of extra effort can make. I set a goal and I never looked back. The MAXGASSER and the time I put into design, production and sales have givin me the oppertunity to get the Gen II. It wasnt a christmas gift,I was going to go get it next week, my wife and son surprised me by doing all the papper work so that I could have it early( I think my son just wanted to keep me out of the showroom, I can be a real prick) The dream continues, I will start a gen II seat design almost exactly two years to the day from when I started the first one. I HAVE NOT REACHED MY GOAL,............................................................... YET! Percie, short for perseverance

Guys(& gals)

I'd like to introduce you to Percie, she was'nt spose to arrive untill next friday but my wife and one of a kind son made it happen early(tonight) Oil pump done,DDclutch mod done.

That's AWESAOME Rick.........you waited long enough for that baby!! Can't wait to stop by and see it in person!!

DANG!! The wife and son are awesome for pushing it through for you. Stories like this are what make life long memories better. You look like a happy kid on that bike. Good for you man...good for you!

Mike, any time. I need to go clean it now, but even tonight if your not busy. Ally, Great wife and son, my son put down what I planed to and I just payed him back, it really did work out nicely.

That is awesome Rick! Keeping your nose to the grindstone is a excellant lesson we can all take away from your efforts, good on ya brother!:worthy:

Rick, kinda curious about that thread that motivated you in such a way. Do you remember what the title of it was or who wrote it? Just like my wife and I just figured out if we both quit smoking we'd have approximately $9000.00 per year EXTRA!!! That's insane! So especially the fact I wanna be around to watch my Son Max who turns 2 in Feb and my Daughter Summer who's 5 grow up. I lost both parents too young to do that to them. So if you remember the thread let me know. I'm curious to try a little bit of perseverence myself and would bet others here would try too if it meant being able to get a Gen II also. Congrats again bro, Ed✨

I looked this morn before work, couldnt find it. It was about 1 extra degree of effort. I think it was posted by r6warrior and may have been called 212 degrees? I'll look some more tonight.

Ed this is the original Post, it sounds cornie I know ,but I changed my life,it can change yours. Just remember if you put the same old effort in you'll get the same results,it takes just a little more.

Mike C, thank you again!

Good morning everyone. I know this is a very strange holiday season with many being out of work and those that are still working full of uncertainty but a friend shared this amazing video with me and thought I would pass it on. Some of you may have seen it before, if so it is still worth a second look. I hope it it helps even a little.
