I made my way over to the Mototune website after seeing a few people say that they followed their break-in procedure. Interesting stuff to say the least. I have read a few articles on head porting (for cars) that mention port velocity being a bigger factor than overall flow #'s and have also heard that a rough finish on the ports helps to better atomize the fuel. However, this is the first I've ever heard of anyone filling in ports in any way. I was just curious if anyone out there has ever tried his approach on a v-max, or anything else for that matter. I would be very interested to see a max with full aftermarket exhaust and proper jetting do a dyno run before and after his porting process.
